About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Sourcing Intern to join our team for a 4-month term. Reporting to the Director – Sourcing & Quality Assurance, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic sourcing data analysis for our Sourcing department. This opportunity is ideal for a university student enrolled in a program related to supply chain management who is eager to gain practical experience in sourcing, data organization, and knowledge management.
What You'll Do
- Research and review existing supplier information and documents stored in internal systems.
- Conduct interviews with senior management, including our CEO, and key stakeholders to gather historical supplier information.
- Organize collected data into a structured, centralized format within the Supply Chain area of our intranet (SharePoint) to support institutional knowledge capture.
- Consolidate supplier portfolio information by key categories for easy reference and future use.
Who You Are
- A university student currently enrolled in a program related to supply chain management or a related field.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and skilled at managing time and priorities effectively.
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) at an intermediate to advanced level.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude who enjoys collaborating and supporting others.
