About the Opportunity
The Product intern will gain a full understanding of product development as well as product stewardship throughout their internship. The Intern will aid the product and marketing team with product set-up, maintenance, market research and dashboard creation. This role will gain exposure to most categories, systems and tools used at Taymor.
This role will actively engage in product set-up and learn system data, via Sage X3, Power Bi and HubSpot. In working closely with PMs, Channel Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams, the Intern will review collateral and marketing material, ERP system and website and gather market and competitor intelligence.
This role will work in conjunction with multiple departments including Sourcing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Design, Marketing, and Operations; and liaising with external suppliers and factories. The Product Intern will be an active team member within the department and participate in weekly and monthly meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product team to update and maintain accurate product information within the ERP system (X3).
- Partner with the Marketing team to compile and validate product data across platforms, including ERP, website, and HubSpot, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Aid team in creating dashboard for Product Team to monitor category health and performance.
- Conduct market research on products, competitors, platforms and macro economic trends on major sales channels (multi-family, builder, retail)
- Assist in pulling information and data together for new product development and business case justification
- Works with Marketing to review and develop content for collateral and proof packaging materials, website, brochures and catalogues
- Effectively utilizes a broad range of internal communication methods
Other tasks and responsibilities
- Participate in Product related meetings
- Populate SharePoint with product related materials
- Present and provide feedback in team meetings
About You
- Currently enrolled at a University / College (business, engineering or other relevant field)
Technical & Professional Abilities sought:

- A curiosity and desire to gain an understanding of how things work
